Beware of what you wish for; it might just come true. Train swore never to let a woman get under his skin unless it meant forever, and forever only meant belonging to The Last Riders. He had believed his one brief sexual encounter with Killyama was a “hit it and quit it.” Instead, her green eyes haunted his memories. Then, when he tried to convince the woman he was serious as his “more the merrier” lifestyle became a painful reminder of the life he lived, Killyama used his own club against him to keep him from what he wanted. Killyama was holding out for a man who could offer her forever, and Train wasn’t the forever kind of man. He was a Mr. Here and Now; the wicked warrior in her dreams. He might be a walking, talking sex machine, but she needed more than that. So, until he proved she was the only one sharing his bed, the only part of her body he was going to see was her ass walking away.
Elsie’s Rating – ⭐⭐⭐ 1/2
For Train being a member of the Last Riders MC means everything to him. Too bad Killyama, the woman he can’t seem to get enough of, has no such loyalty. Choices have to be made and Train must get Killyama to toe the line before one of them ends up dead!
Author Jamie Begley’s audiobooks are an automatic download for me. Her MC series are raw but also have heart. A fine line that’s difficult to walk in this genre, but Jamie always delivers.
That being said, Train’s Clash was an uneven listen for me. I guess I have a hard time when the heroine is so prickly, and her redeeming qualities seem to run neck and neck with her… let’s say less desirable qualities. It all comes together in the end, but I didn’t like the way the story got there.
Still, this nearly 13-hour audiobook is everything you’d expect from Jamie Begley, it’s suspenseful and downright steamy. Narrated by Elizabeth Hart who has read several of Jamie’s stories. In this fully voiced production Ms. Hart does her usual stellar job, her pacing is perfect and the audio is high quality.

“I was born in a small town in Kentucky
. My family began poor, but worked their way to owning a restaurant. My mother was one of the best cooks I have ever known, and she instilled in all her children the value of hard work, and education.
Taking after my mother, I’ve always loved to cook, and became pretty good if I do say so myself. I love to experiment and my unfortunate family has suffered through many. They now have learned to steer clear of those dishes. I absolutely love the holidays and my family puts up with my zany decorations.”
“For now, my days are spent writing, writing, and writing. I have two children, my daughter is also an author, and my son just tries not to blush when someone asks him about my books.
All my books are written for one purpose- the enjoyment others find in them, and the expectations of my fans that inspire me to give it my best.”
